Trip Down Under, to New Zealand

Lake Hawea, near Wanaka

November 6-29, 2003 – Going down under again. This time to New Zealand, while stopping over for 2 days in Singapore, after a 12 hour flight. Nine hours later from Singapore, we'll first do the southern island of New Zealand, landing in Christchurch, driving down. Then back up again, crossing over to the northern island, up past Auckland. This site is our travel journal. It contains our plans (what we would like to do), and our experiences (what we did do in the end). You could make it a blueprint for your journey to New Zealand, pick up ideas and tips. Enjoy!
